Affiliate marketing is an online business model where you have to promote other companies products and make people purchase them.
Whenever a product is sold with your special link (affiliate link) attached to it, you will earn a commission!

Companies are going to give you special links called “affiliate links”. These links are used by the companies to know where the sales are coming.
Any sales that come from your affiliate links will earn you commissions.
It’s a very exciting online business opportunity that anyone can do it. You don’t need any experience or special skills to make real money online with affiliate marketing.

To give you a better image on how fast you can earn money with affiliate marketing, I’m going to show you how long it took me to see my first sale, my first paycheck and my fi​​rst $500 a month
How long did it take me to make my first affiliate sale online?
As I said at the beginning of this post, I joined the affiliate marketing train in October 2016. Since then, I have been making consistent slowly growing sales.
After four months of working very hard on my website, I have managed to make my first sale. Five months later, I have received my first affiliate marketing paycheck of $94. I know that’s not a lot but it’s my first paycheck and as a newbie I was so happy about it!
The following month I have earned $39.50. My sales dropped a little but in the following month I have earned $498!
Since then my sales have been slowly decreasing and increasing! It’s been a great journey!

The point of this is to show you how long it takes to make money with affiliate marketing. The short answer is you need to give this a year, within one year you can build a real affiliate marketing business.

I’m going to be honest, affiliate marketing, although it’s simple and straightforward, you will need to know how to do a lot of things right in order to make real money with it.

- Find good affiliate programs to promote within your niche
- Learn how to drive traffic (targeted traffic)
- Learn how to monetize your traffic
- Be able to convince people online about buying your affiliate products
