What is Legendary Marketer?
Legendary Marketer is an online training course and educational platform that was created by David Sharpe. It aims to help and educate people who are determined to attain an uncapped source of income with location freedom.
This is possible through the various kinds of training Legendary Marketer provides such as:
- One-on-one coaching
- Live event training
- Books
- Training videos
- Business blueprints
- Various kinds of marketing trainings
Apart from these training offers, Legendary Marketer has an affiliate program wherein you can earn money with them. This is one of the reasons why some people accuse Legendary Marketer as a scam because they misunderstood it. More information on this later on.
Who owns it?
David Sharpe created Legendary Marketer. He is a self-confessed homeless drug addict and a teenage father. However, one day, he decided to change and use those parts of this life as a motivation to go clean and become a better person. He looked for jobs and initially worked as a construction worker before going into Network Marketing.
When he did venture out to marketing, he created his first company, Empower Network, with this friend Dave Wood. A lot of people made money with his company, but there were also people who lost. David decided to leave the company since he wasn't happy with what he was doing and changed his path. In the end, Empower Network collapsed.
David then created Duplicate Dave, which will then be rebranded to Legendary Marketer. At first, the company followed a pyramid scheme-like business model which alerted some people. However, as time passes by, Legendary Marketer evolved into Legendary Marketer 3.0, which introduced Matt Hetzel, Legendary Marketer’s Director of Education.
Currently, the company's business model is different from before because its products are not sold for their value alone. Plus, it is now free to become an affiliate, unlike before.
Legendary Marketer Products and their Prices
Legendary Marketer has a wide variety of training courses. I shall not go into them each in detail, rather provide a brief information about them. Here are they:
Each one of these have different topics, lessons and training courses. All of them aim to transform people into great marketers and help them create their own online business through marketing.
Yes, they are actually expensive, which also competes with other training programs out there.

Why spend a lot of money in these expensive training programs when you have this one that is a lot cheaper?
Thanks to this program, I now have a monthly 4-figure income! Check it out!
Legendary Marketer Affiliate Program
Before, there were issues regarding the Legendary Marketer Affiliate Program. There was a time wherein there were no legit products being offered. Plus, people had to pay a certain to become an affiliate of Legendary Marketer.
Then it had products to offer, affiliates had to purchase these products first before they can start selling and earn money. Mind you, the products are super expensive. All of these lead to a pyramid scheme structure. This is the reason why people would say that Legendary Marketer is a pyramid scheme
Fortunately, Legendary Marketer has improved today and no longer follows those practices. Currently, the affiliate program has two form: basic and pro.

Obviously, the Pro membership offers more benefits. But the basic one is still great. As an affiliate of Legendary Marketer, your job is to promote or sell their products and you earn commissions when people buy them from you.
You can see below the compensation plan.

Unlike before, you don't need to purchase the products for you to sell them and earn money. Furthermore, even though people will not buy the product you are selling, they will still be listed as your referrals for a lifetime. By the moment they purchase the product, even if it will be years from when you promoted it, you will still receive the commission.
Legendary Marketer Pros and Cons
Pros
- Not an MLM (no recruiting people involved)
- The training products are legit and great
- There is a free affiliate program membership
- No need to buy the products you are promoting
- Good compensation plan
Cons
- The owner has a history with pyramid schemes
- Some sales materials are too hyped
- Costs are high
- Only 3-day policy for expensive products
- There are a lot of "mindset" talk in the training courses
- Followed a pyramid scheme-like structure
Is Legendary Marketer A Pyramid Scheme?
Like I said earlier, Legendary Marketer did follow a pyramid scheme-like structure before. However, since then, the company improved and totally restructured its business model. Legendary Marketer does offer products now. Moreover, people can join the affiliate program without paying for anything (membership fee or the products).
So the answer is no. It is not a pyramid scheme. A quick reminder though. Most people who purchase these training courses tend to give up after a month or so. Then they will accuse the program as a scam. This is because they are expecting that upon purchasing these programs and courses, they will earn money immediately.
But that's not the thing about marketing. It requires hardwork, time and patience. No matter how expensive the products you purchase, you will need to hustle hard to be able to achieve that passive stream of income.
Conclusion
Overall, Legendary Marketer may have a bumpy start, but I can't deny that it did improve. Its products are all great but they are too expensive. There are training courses out there that are cheaper and just provide the same thing: education to transform you into a good marketer and start your own online business.
Take it from me, who did it without spending thousands of dollars on these programs. Thanks to this program, I now have a passive source of monthly income with affiliate marketing. Plus, expensive courses are not recommended to newbies. So I suggest that you choose the ones that are cheaper but still give out relevant and excellent training, like the one I got.
However, if you do have the money and you are willing to spend for Legendary Marketer's products, then why not?
