So, sit back and prepare yourself as I show you how you can earn money while listening to music!
10 Great Sites to Make Money Listening to Music
This is the best and most fruitful extra cash site of this list. There are many ways to earn money with Inbox Dollars. And one of them, is listening to the radio.
Of course, you're not going to make lots of money by just listening to the radio. However, if you mix it with surveys and other ways you will reach the $30 minimum threshold much quicker. Furthermore, everyone above the age of 18 can join Inbox Dollars.
Inbox dollars is really a great site and I do recommend you to check it out, no wonder why it's the first one mentioned in this list.
SliceThePie is a cool site that pays you to listen to music. It's a music review site where you make money by writing reviews about the songs you listen to.
You get 2 cents to 20 cents per review, but everything depends on the quality of your reviews. Of course, you don't have to be a music expert to provide quality reviews.
Obviously, you are not going to write reviews about songs made by the Weeknd or Rihanna (My favorite Singers :D). However, you get to listen to songs by new musicians that are just starting out. So, quality reviews are the ones that help them to improve their songs.
Needless to say, the more helpful and thoughtful your reviews are the more you can earn with SliceThePie.
They make payments via Paypal, and you can increase your earnings by referring your friends. Furthermore, you get 10% from everything your referrals earn.
Hit Predictor is a music research organization that curates songs before putting them up online. All you have to do is register and select the music genre of your choice.
Hit predictor might not pay as good as slice the pie, but it's certainly a good way to earn some extra cash listening to 1-2 minutes long songs.
Once you listen to a song all you have to do is to express how much you like it by rating it and leaving a short comment.
Every song earns you three points. Furthermore, you can refer your friends to earn more.
However, they don't support Paypal. Plus, I thought the rewards are pretty discouraging.
You can redeem your points to get CDs and DVDs.
Plus, you can also enter some raffles that cost 500 points to win an Itunes Gift cards of $50 and $100. You can also redeem your points for Amazon gift cards
What I liked about this site is the fact that you can listen to songs made by famous singers like Justin Bieber and Eminem.
Apparently, you get paid to listen to ads that play before those songs. The site is good because they have a good referral program; however, their rewards are disappointing.
MusicXray is another popular site when it comes to making money listening to music. Furthermore, this site is legit and it does pay.
Music listeners and artists can earn money with this website. To start earning, all you have to do is create an account as a fan. Then, you can now get paid listening to music from fresh artists. Furthermore, most music are only 30 seconds long.
MusicXray pays via Paypal and you will earn 10 cents for every song you listen to. However, you must reach the minimum amount of $20 for a payout. This means you would have to listen to atleast 200 songs.
However, it seems like US residents are the ones that can earn the most money from it. Users from other countries seem to get very limited songs per month which extremely limits their income potential.
I have written a review before about Musicxray in case you want to read more about it.
Current Rewards is a music app which promises that you can earn as much as $600 a year by listening to music only. Furthermore, you will only be listening to music stations that suits your taste. Plus, you will not be paying any fee for listening to these "radio" stations!
Listening to music is not the only way you can earn money with Current Rewards. You can also earn money by answering surveys or doing tasks on your mobile phone. Furthermore, watching video ads gives you fifteen points.
The more things you do in this site, the faster you can earn points. If you have enough points, you can then exchange it for gift cards (Amazon, iTunes, and Starbucks) or cash via Paypal.
You can earn with Cash4Minutes by using your mobile data to listen to internet radio. Furthermore, if you have a VoIP service then you can also use that to earn.
Basically, Cash4Minutes will give you a phone number to call to be able to listen into the internet radio stations. They pay you for every minute that you listen. Furthermore, you can earn more by referring the website to your friends.
You can then redeem your earnings via Paypal, Bitcoin, Bank Transfer, Gift cards, or, if you're feeling generous, you can donate it.
RadioEarn allows you to earn while listening to internet radio stations. First, you have to create an account. After that, you can then start listening to the internet radio station which will earn you points every 15 minutes.
You can then exchange these points for gift cards, cash, or Bitcoin.
Earnably is a site where you can earn money by completing a wide variety of tasks. One notable thing you can do to earn money here is by listening to radio stations.
The more you listen in, the more points you can earn. However, you need to earn a minimum of 225 points to redeem your earnings. This is equivalent to $2. Rewards which you can earn are Amazon gift cards, Bitcoinm or cash via Paypal.
Furthermore, you can also earn more by watching music videos and completing certain tasks.
This is a reputable market research provider for radio stations. First, you need to create an account and complete setting up your profile demographic. After this, you will have to wait until Research.fm emails you notifying that you qualify for a music review.
You will be then rewarded with Amazon gift cards.
This website is for those who are more hardcore with curating music and have a significant following. Playlist Push is a website that hires people to curate music from different artists. However, they require people who apply as curators to have a public playlists on any reputable music sites like Spotify or Youtube Music. Furthermore, each playlists must have at least a 1000 followers.
If you get accepted as a curator, you can then earn $1.25 to $15 for each song you curate. Payment is sent via Transferwise.

SliceThePie looks simply incredible and I believe everyone can be better at reviewing songs. What do you think of the potential?
You might be earning no more than $100 per month, that’s how much you can make listening to music with most of these sites.
SlicethePie sounds like the best site listed here but I think a $50 iTunes gift card wouldn’t be bad either. It’s cool to think that some of these underground artists might be on the radio some day. Fun post to read, thanks!
Slice the pie is a good site to earn some extra cash. Thanks for stopping by Kyle
Looks like great way to make few bugs for someone who loves to listen to music a lot. But 2c per review means you need to listen to 100 even to make 2USD. Let’s say average song takes approximately 3.5 minutes and you write the review while listening to next piece, that’s 58h of music…so even if you make it your full time job, that’s never going to earn you more than 5USD per week! Asking myself if it’s really worth it?
These sites are ways to some extra cash, you can’t make a full-time income by just listening to music unless you are a pro musician or a Xfactor judge.
