Hello! Welcome to my Wealthy Affiliate vs Authority Hacker review!
When we talk about making money online, one way that stands out among the rest is affiliate marketing with the use of having your own website.
Although you can do this on your own, it is very helpful and important to possess the perfect training and tools you need.
There are several companies or programs out there that provide the things you need. Among them is Wealthy Affiliate and Authority Hacker.
To save the time and money, we will be comparing both of them in this Wealthy Affiliate vs Authority Hacker review to find out which is better for you! Let's get started.
Getting to know
Before any comparisons to make, let's get a brief introduction of both websites, Wealthy Affiliate and Authority Hacker.
What is Wealthy Affiliate?

Wealthy Affiliate was started in 2005 by its creators, Kyle Loudon and Carson Lim. It is a comprehensive and step-by-step affiliate marketing training program and platform.
It aims to help people create their own online business from their passion and of course, affiliate marketing. Wealthy Affiliate provides the training, courses and tools to make that possible.
Below is a picture that summarizes how Wealthy Affiliate works.

What is Authority Hacker?

On the other hand, we have Authority Hacker. It is pretty much the same with Wealthy Affiliate. Authority Hacker provides online marketing education through its training programs, courses, podcast and even its blog posts.
It was created by Gael Breton and Mark Webster. Since 2013, they have created authority sites, which are just basically high quality websites. With these, they have earned money!
They then started Authority Hacker to help people do the same thing: create high quality websites and make money with them.

Membership and Cost Comparison
Wealthy Affiliate
Wealthy Affiliate has two memberships:
- Free membership ($0)
- Premium membership ($49 monthly)
The key differences between the two memberships are the benefits that you can get. Obviously, you will have more access if you get the premium membership.
I will show them to you in the next section.
Authority Hacker
Authority Hacker offers one course with two upgrades or upsells.
- The Authority Site System (One-time payment of $997)
- The Authority Hacker Pro ($797 or 6 monthly payments of $179)
- The Authority Hacker Pro Platinum ($1797 or 12 monthly payments of $179)
The basic course will help you create a website that they claim to earn an average of $1000 per month.
Each upgrade will provide you with the next building stage of your website, which they claim, make your websites earn $5000 per month up to more than $100,000 per month!
Course, tools and training comparison
Wealthy Affiliate

The picture above shows a brief comparison between the two memberships that you can get from Wealthy Affiliate.
Even though the free membership has less benefits, we should consider the fact that you will be able to access the benefits forever. There is no time limit for it.
You can check out more benefits by clicking here.
Authority Hacker

The photos above pretty much give you an insight as to what you can receive from the courses.
Compared to Wealthy Affiliate, Authority Hacker does offer more updated strategies. However, Authority Hacker is a lot more expensive, plus it has upsells.
Training Focus
Wealthy Affiliate
In Wealthy Affiliate, they would want you to pick a niche of your preference. They encourage you to pick the one that you are most passionate about. Afterwards, the program will help you create a free website about this niche.
You can make your changes and tweaking in the website to make it better. One thing that you need to take note of Wealthy Affiliate's training focus is that they do NOT provide any backlink training. In fact they discourage it.
It is because they believe that backlinks can be easily manipulated and that Google is slowly moving away from backlinks as part of the top ranking metric. Backlinks will just come naturally over time.
Instead of that, Wealthy Affiliate focuses on visitor engagement. Meaning, they aim to increase your comments, likes and shares from your visitors. Wealthy Affiliate also offers social media training and content idea generation training.

Authority Hacker
The training focus of Authority Hacker is quite different. Here is a summary.
- You make "Pillar" or "Skyscraper" content which are basically huge ultimate guide pages.
- Add informational articles which are shorter and are keyword-based topics
- Put product reviews
- Build backlinks in your large content pages to attain authority.
All in all, you are training to make a website and then build backlinks to grow it, which is the opposite of Wealthy Affiliate. Also, the training focuses deeply on niche research.
In fact, the training puts less time on content creation and more on niche research and backlinking.
They believe that backlinking is very important since it is a common way of sending signals to search engines such as Google, that what they are posting on their websites are getting the attention of web traffic.
Support and Community Engagement Comparison
When it comes to support and community engagement, I can say that Wealthy Affiliate is better.
With Wealthy Affiliate, you will become a member of a community of like-minded marketers who are willing to help you follow your way towards success. Moreover, you can personally communicate with the creators to ask for assistance.
And yes, their support system is managed in-house.
Authority Hacker also has an active community, especially its Facebook group. But the problem about this is that it can be disorganized. Questions tend to pile up. Moreover, the support system is good and is helpful. However, the support system is only possible through email or its chat box.
Final Verdict
To conclude this Wealthy Affiliate vs Authority Hacker review, it is time for my final verdict. Personally, I believe that both of them are equally good at providing training and tools. They also teach different things which will interest different audiences.
However, if I have to choose between them, I would say that Wealthy Affiliate is the one. Apart from the fact that it is a lot cheaper, it is just best for the newbies out there!
In fact, you will probably be seeing rankings on your website and earn money even before you are finished with the niche research phase of Authority Hacker. Moreover, they have a better support system that is managed in-house. The creators are very much willing to help you out too.
Wealthy Affiliate thrives on the mentality that any website can earn money. So they help you build the website first and then worry about the money part afterwards.
Authority Hacker on the other side is more technical and I don't doubt that there are people who prefer this.
You will be spending more time researching on your niche and actually make sure that your websites can earn you money. Everything will be planned out.
From the niche, the topics, up to the different SEO strategies that you must use.

Of course, this sounds more appealing and reassuring. However, are you willing to go through all of these by paying the expensive cost?
Both success with Wealthy Affiliate and Authority Hacker will definitely take time and effort. In the end, the decision is all yours. But I choose Wealthy Affiliate all the way!
