Javita is an MLM that offers coffee and tea products. It was founded by Stan Cherelstein back in 2004.

Moreover, this company is a part of another MLM, Waiora, which provides health and wellness products. Javita is also marketed by the Dollar Coffee Club.

As for its founder, Stan has been in the networking industry since the late 1990s, serving at high rankings in different companies. Moreover, he has experiences in distribution, finance, human resources and customer support.

Apart from offering products, Javita has a business opportunity for its clients. It is the one you probably discovered. We shall discuss this further later on.

You can learn more about Javita in the video below.

Javita Products

Is Javita A Pyramid Scheme products

Javita offers a wide variety of tea and coffee products. However, there is a twist. The company markets their products as beverages with health benefits such as weight loss.

Its best-selling products are...

  • Lean + Green Tea ($40) - This green tea was formulated to help Javita clients through detoxifying their bodies of chemicals and impurities.
  • Burn + Control ($40) - A coffee that can help you lose weight and at the same time, power you with energy to help you go through the day.
  • Energy + Focus ($40) - Boosts your energy and mental power, making you more focused in different activities for the day.

These products might impressed you, but you should know that Javita is not the only MLM that provide these kinds. There are other MLM companies with similar products such as:

How does Javita work?

Javita follows the MLM business model. Basically, they provide products to the clients (coffee and tea). At the same time, Javita has an opportunity or a program wherein people can earn money with them.

They only need to become a member, sell products and recruit people, to be compensated. This situation benefits both parties.

Javita can make sales and be exposed to more customers. While the representatives or the sellers get to earn money.

Can you make money with Javita?

The short answer is yes, you can earn money. However, you won't be earning much, especially if you are not that good at selling and recruiting.

Moreover, MLM representatives have higher chances of losing money rather than earning. Apart from that, Javita did not release any income disclosure statement since it started!

This lacks transparency which makes you less assured that you can actually have a decent income with them.

How can you make money with Javita?

There are two main ways for you to earn money with Javita.

  1. Sell Javita products
  2. Recruit people to become Javita representatives.

However, it is very important to know (and to avoid confusion), that you will earn money only when your recruits make sales. Javita will not compensate you for just recruiting people because that is illegal and what pyramid schemes are all about.

How to get started with Javita?

If you are still interested to become a Javita representative, here is how you can join. You need to pay for a subscription fee. There are two options with different benefits.

  1. $99 - Wholesale program
  2. $599 - Wholesale program, affiliate program, commission and bonuses eligibility

If you chose the $99 subscription, you will only have the wholesale program, wherein you can buy Javita products at wholesale prices. Then you can sell them at retail prices, to have a profit.

The $599 subscription on the other hand will also give you the wholesale program. But, you will be able to earn more commissions and bonuses, as well as become an affiliate.

So basically, if you want to earn more money by selling and recruiting, you should get the $599. However, that's not all you have to pay for!

Hello! I am Anis and I make 4k a month through this program!

No need to pay for anything or recruit people! This is actually a lot better than MLMs!

Javita Monthly Cost

Representatives are required to meet the monthly PV of at least $100. Meaning, you must make sales at least $100 monthly, so that you can earn commissions and bonuses through their compensation plan.

Also, take note that you still have to buy the products that you will be selling, since the $99 and $599 expenses are just for the subscription!

If we calculate, you minimum cost of your expenses during your first year is...

  • $99 or $599
  • $100 for 12 months

Minimum costs for the 1st year = $1,299 to $1,799. That is quite high, considering that you won't be even earning much to cover for all of those expenses.

Javita Compensation Plan

Javita's compensation plan is kind of confusing to understand. So I will simplify it for you. There are 3 main ways to earn money with Javita.

  1. First Order - When your newly recruited members purchase their first packages, you will earn between 10% to 20% commission depending on your rank.
  2. Customer Acquisition - Whenever you recruit someone, you will be compensated between 20% to 30% commission depending on your rank too.
  3. Direct Sales - Receive a 30% commission on each sale you make.

Do not be confused if you will encounter similar MLM compensation plans because that's how they made it; to convince you that there are a lot of ways to earn money. But in truth, there are just two ways:

  • Sell products
  • Recruit people

You can check out the whole Javita compensation plan here or you can watch the video below.

Is Javita a pyramid scheme?

First things first, let me define what a pyramid scheme is. A pyramid scheme is an illegal business model wherein the only way for you to earn money is through recruiting people. There are no products involved.

However, it is very difficult to earn money because of this model, especially if you are at the bottom of the "pyramid". The ones at the top, which are the owners, tend to benefit more.

Since Javita has products and representatives can actually earn money just by selling, it is technically not a pyramid schemes. However, some MLMs practice methods that are like pyramid schemes, making them pyramid schemes in disguise. I shall reveal this later.

Javita Pros

#1 Has been around for a long time

Most MLMs do not even survive past 10 years since their creation. However, Javita defied those odds. It was created in 2004 and it is still operating right now.

This just means that it is not a scam company because it has not been shut down, right?

Javita Cons

#1 Not BBB Accredited and poor BBB rating

Is Javita A Pyramid Scheme BBB

When I do my reviews, I always check the companies' BBB profile because this website helps people find out if they are worth it or not.

Javita is not BBB accredited and has no rating. Moreover, it only received 1 star out of 5. This serves as a warning already to you.

#2 The coffee niche has a lot of MLMs

The coffee niche has a lot of MLM companies already. This makes it harder for Javita representatives to find customers since there are a lot of competitors out there.

#3 The products are expensive

Another reason for you to have a more difficult way of selling the products is how expensive they are.

Customers tend to choose the cheaper alternatives which give the same benefits. This is also a strategy that pyramid schemes in disguise follow. I shall explain this later.

#4 Too expensive and there are hidden expenses

Being a Javita representative is super expensive. There are a lot of expenses that you need to make. Moreover, the monthly PV is an additional expense that won't even be revealed to you when you are being recruited.

It is so weird to think how an opportunity is so expensive when you can earn less money!

#5 Pyramid scheme in disguise

Overall, Javita reeks of being a pyramid scheme in disguise. First, did you notice that its compensation plan gives you money JUST by recruiting people? Well, that's strike one.

Second, the products and the expenses are so expensive. This is a tactic that pyramid schemes in disguise do. Representatives will have a harder time selling the products. Moreover, they will be spending money to pay for the expenses.

For them to have a better income and to cover for all their expenses, representatives will resort to recruiting people. Doesn't that make sense?

Final Verdict

If you ask me if Javita is a scam, then no it is not. It offers legit products and it is indeed a legit company. It has been operating since 2004, right?

Moreover, you can earn money with them. But that's not the answer you need. Will you have good source of income? Well, that is another story. Knowing that it is an MLM, you should not expect that you can rely on it.

Furthermore, Javita hasn't released any income disclosure statements, right? How will you assure yourself that you can actually earn enough money from them. With that, I do not recommend you to join Javita.

If you are confident with your selling and recruitment skills, then sure, try it out. However, if you don't, check out my top recommendation below.

This is How I Make Money from Home!

MLMs can make you earn money. However, the potential income is just too low. That is why I looked for better ways to earn money from home and I found affiliate marketing.

It has a common denominator with MLMs since you will be promoting products. Then you will be compensated for each sale you make. However, the huge difference is that you won't be paying for anything.

With affiliate marketing, I am earning a passive income of over 4k a month! If you are interested or in doubt, then feel free to click on the button below to enlighten yourself.
